Lyte-Lock™ is a disposable battery cover used in conjunction with Deep Cycle Acid Traction Batteries (also called Flooded or Wet Batteries).  The product is designed to absorb the initial vented electrolyte, neutralize it, and reduce the resulting stains and corrosion on and around the batteries.  Our patented design is available in multiple configurations to fit most 6 volt, 8 volt, and 12 volt Traction batteries.  Lyte-Lock ™ is made from materials that are both acid and fire resistant.  It also contains alkaline agents able to neutralize acids with up to 90% concentration.  To install, remove vent caps properly as instructed by the battery manufacture, snap into place around the venting holes, with the vented side of the cover facing up.  Then replace the cap.  Cover replacement should be performed during your normal battery maintenance routine suggested by the battery manufacture.
